FIREFLY LIFE COACHING the story
The world can knock us around can be a rough place for creatives or “different” thinkers. In many cases artists aren’t given access to many opportunities unless we were previously connected to a network of gallerists or enthusiastic buyers (possibly through generational wealth or coming from “an art family”). Not to say there aren’t success stories, but often you aren’t hearing the whole story.
You can access the hope, trust, support, communication skills and compassion within you to launch yourself to the next round of your career. I started Firefly Life Coaching with the idea that fireflies are a piece of magic in the world. Just like artists, they are moments of brightness, illuminating the darkness. I work to pull your unique flame out and fan it into full bonfire brilliance.
FLC as a company continues to grow with new programs listed, exploring healing practices, knowledge, mastermind programs, art workshops, contemporary business practices and an emphasis on integrity, love, emotional intelligence and respect.
COACH SARAH MAGIDA the story
Being a neuro-divergent artist happens to not be uncommon. As a woman who lives with this I’ve done a lot that contradicts everything people believe about the stigma of mental illness. I truly believe if I can accomplish great things in life, so can you, if I can live in ease, comfort and feel empowered there is absolutely no reason you can’t have that.
I work in the area of life magic, life facilitation, life momentum. As an advocate of artist lives I have trained as a life coach, reiki master and hold a BFA, MA in the arts. I even went to an arts high school and have made art since I could finger paint.
Yes, I was that kid that would hide inside during recess so I could paint.
I connect artists back to themselves. The play of art making which lends itself to innovation, big dreams, larger aspirations and wellbeing sprinkled along the way.
I am an expert in taking extra good care of myself.
I want you to be an expert as well.
Life Coaching suits me because all life coaches want is for people to excel at being themselves. They have a deep desire or even soul contract to create a better internal world for those who seek us. Internal worlds of artists have the best ways of spreading to the outer world and becoming contagious, infectious change making platforms. Become a light in your darkness, the glowing firefly orb that tells you a not so secret secret- life is magic.
It may seem like I’m selling a fairy tale dream, but life actually gets much better the deeper you let yourself dive into its mystery. As your guide in creative life force energies, I am not going to let you fall into past harmful patterns that you’ve adopted as realities. I am not here to diagnose or treat you. I actually work from a Jungian philosophy of there being nothing “wrong” with you, so stop punishing yourself.
Problems are challenges in disguise and ones you are here to learn from. Every challenge opens the door to possibility.
